Are your books new or used?
At Nightmare Nook Books we have a combination of both new and used horror, crime and thriller books. We endeavour to detail the condition of our books with photos and descriptions on the product pages. These are the condition of which the books leave the Nook on their way to new homes.
Do you sell signed or special editions?
We do occasionally have signed and special edition books. Whether a book is signed or special edition will be listed on the product page.
Will items be restocked?
This depends. If a book is popular we may restock it, but there is no guarantee. If you missed out on a particular book, contact us and we will look into it!
What is the Ghoulish Gift Wrap add on?
For an extra cost, you can add this to each book you purchase. This add on upgrade includes having your book gift wrapped by hand, with some stickers and a bookmark. We reserve the right to change the contents of the add on, but will always update the website with any changes that are made.

Order & Shipping FAQs
When will my order be dispatched?
We aim to dispatch orders within 3-5 business days. You will be updated when your order is on its way to you.
How much is shipping?
We charge a flat rate for shipping to cover necessary costs and fees associated with getting your order to you. This fee may adjust in line with any increases made by shipping providers.
How long does shipping take and can I track my order?
We use Royal Mail 2nd class postage for your items. Larger parcels may be sent by an alternative provider. Standard 2nd class postage does not include tracking, so if you wish to add tracking to your order we will need to charge an extra fee. Please add a note to your order if you need to add tracking.
We are not liable for shipping and delivery delays and all delivery times are estimates only.
Do you ship internationally?
Unfortunately we can only ship to the United Kingdom.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept card payments as well as Paypal, Apple and Google Pay.
Why did my payment fail?
There are a number of reasons why a payment can fail. Please ensure all your details are accurate when making a payment. Please note that Apple Pay requires all details in your Wallet to be complete and in the correct format for payments to be successful.
If you encounter a payment issue, please check with your bank or payment provider in the first instance, and contact us if the issue persists.
