At Nightmare Nook Books, we were fed up of hunting high and low for good dark fiction amongst the Sci-Fi and Fantasy genres in chain bookstores, so we decided to set up our own online store with the dream one day to become a bricks and mortar destination bookshop!

Hello! 👋
I’m Cat, and after years in corporate roles, dreaming of one day running a bookshop, I finally decided to take the leap!
As an avid horror fan, the darker side of fiction has always interested and entertained me – from Goosebumps books as a kid, graduating to Point Horror and Point Crime as a teen, and then delving deeper as an adult into the full spectrum of the horror genre.
I want to take that passion for the macabre and turn it into a community. It’s time to indoctrinate those who are just starting their horror fiction journey, as well as provide the best titles for those that are already invested in it!
